Christians Against Poverty (CAP UK)

Christians Against Poverty (CAP UK) equips churches with the tools and expertise to support local people who are facing debt and other financial challenges, as well as campaigning relentlessly for an end to UK poverty. Driven by an unwavering Christian faith, CAP believes deeply in the value of people and is determined to see dignity reclaimed, hope reignited and a future that’s brighter for all of us.

Churches are partnering with Christians Against Poverty (CAP UK) to support local people here in Cambridge who are facing unmanageable debt. We’ve seen how poverty robs people of dignity, hope and opportunities, and together with CAP we’re determined to fight back. We are currently expanding the Cambridge provision and would love to see more people and churches partnering with us in various ways – particularly through prayer, volunteering as befrienders, and financial support. The service is free for clients to access but depends upon the generosity of others.
