Easter has passed, Summer ahead

Easter has passed by quickly. We were blessed to share in a joint Walk of Witness service alongside our friends from All Saints Church, followed by a joyful Easter Sunday celebration. Yet even though Easter Day has passed, every Sunday remains a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.

Following His resurrection, Jesus spent 40 days teaching His disciples, appearing to them at various times (Acts 1:3) . With that in mind, we are currently exploring the teaching of Jesus in Gospel of Matthew chapter 5, beginning with His words about the Kingdom of Heaven. We will continue journeying through this passage together each Sunday as we move towards Pentecost and beyond.

The Holy Spirit helps us to understand and live out the words of Jesus today. Though Jesus first spoke His words long ago, His teaching remains living, powerful, and unchanging today.

Why not join us on a Sunday to experience the words of Jesus? There is nothing better than living in and with the presence of God - it is how humans are intended to be! If you do not yet know Jesus, I hope you experience what is the most life changing of experiences - to live in the love of God :)

Every Blessing,

Chris Tanton
